Assim como no digital a humanidade desenha como expressão, comunicação, ou por prazer. O desenho nos permite passar a informação de forma rápida e direta, para mim são todas essas.
Desenho desde a adolescência e tenho muita paixão por essa arte, aos poucos aprendi diversas técnicas e estilos e diversas vezes fui limitado ao material que eu tinha a disposição, o que de certa forma me impedia de alcançar meu objetivo final, por isso encontrei na ilustração digital uma excelente forma de me expressar, pois posso usar a midia, textura ou estilo que quiser independente de ter os materiais a mão ou não.
Claro que nem tudo são rosas 😛 , mas vou tentar resumir como se startar nesse mundão criativo ^_~.
O que é necessário?
Bom, para não fritar o cérebro de uma vez só, vamos por estapas…
Softwares (Programas).
Existem diversos Softwares e aplicações voltados para esse fim, eu poderia incluir softwares vetoriais como Illustrator ou Corel mas deixemos esses para outra hora. Nas minhas experimentações conheci alguns dos principais, alguns até com versões mobile tanto para IOS quanto para Android.
Os meus preferidos são:

Photoshop da Adobe
Painter da Corel
Existem vários outros como o Gimp, Artrage e o MidiBang Paint mas esses eu conheço pouco para falar então deixo a critério de vocês.

Desenho digital não se limita apenas ao pc ou Mac, porém o auxiliam muito a alcançar uma qualidade superior.
Se você quer se aventurar sem compromisso alguns dos softwares que mencionei não são pagos, pena que são poucos.
Ao desenhar no Computador no começo, independente da plataforma ou software, o que é diferente é a estranha sensação de olhar para a tela sem ver a mão, e claro a sensibilidade tanto do mouse quanto da mesa digitalizadora assusta um pouco mais com alguns exercícios ou rabiscos logo você se torna intimo.
Mesa Digitalizadora
Mesas digitalizadoras ou mesa gráfica, antigamente chamadas de Tablet’s, é um dispositivo com uma base plana que recebe os sinais, toque e pressão de uma caneta. A grande sacada não é apenas a caneta transmitir os seus movimentos para o pc ou monitor mas também ter um grau mais elevado de precisão que o mouse, os modelos mais simples tem em media 1024 níveis de pressão, ou sejá ela reconhece a força do traço, algumas até mesmo interpretam o angulo de inclinação da mão e podem possuir botões com atalhos customizáveis e até aceitar o toque da mão (touch).
No mercado existem poucos fabricantes é praticamente impossível falar de mesas digitalizadoras sem mencionar a Wacom, uma marca que se consolidou na ilustração digital e em varias outras áreas com produtos pensados para artistas, fornece desde mesas mais básicas como a da foto a cima, até mesas que podem custar o valor de um carro, uma delas é a CINTIQ 24HD, (Meu sonho de consumo :’) ) .

Smartphones e Tablet da
Alguns dos softwares que mencionei no inicio tem suas versões para Smartphones e tablet’s, eu sou viciado no Sketchbook pro da Autodesk para Smartphone pois ele tem uma interface muito agradável e intuitiva, com atalhos que podem ser modificados e rotação do canvas (Folha ou área de trabalho), já utilizei ambas as versões tablet e Smartphone e o resultado foi incrível, até acabei comprando a versão pro depois que testei pois ela traz vários recursos interessantíssimos.
